legend has it, as the Valkyries rode through the land after battle, a child,
a blond haired Valkyrie daughter, asked to stay. She wanted to live here on
earth, rather than return to Valhalla. When told she could not stay, this
stubborn Valkyrie daughter jumped off the back of the horse. She was never
seen again.
